Guntur rural SP Narayan Naik on Saturday conducted a meeting with
NCC, scouts, and students of various colleges to create awareness on
Krishna Pushkaralu duties at a meeting held at Police Kalyana Mandapam
in Guntur.
Speaking on the occasion, he urged them to perform Pushkaralu
duties with commitment. He instructed them to treat pilgrims with
respect and provide them with necessary information and help elders and
children.
He said that they would provide T-shirts and identity cards for
those working for the Krishna Pushkaralu. He said that they would engage
3,000 students, scouts, NCC Cadets for Krishna Pushkaralu. He further
stated that the department would set up CCTV cameras at ghats and
provide necessary security at ghats and Pushkarnagars.
Meanwhile, Guntur urban SP Sarva Sresta Tripati flagged off the
rally at the DPO in Guntur city. Speaking on the occasion, he said that
scouts were taking out a rally to create awareness about Krishna
Pushkaralu.
He said that the department had taken all the steps to conduct
Pushkaralu and using drones to address traffic problem. The rally which
started from SP office passed through the Collector's office in the
city.
