Number of new ghats in telangana will be constructed in many districts of telangana state as a part of krishna pushkaralu 2016 celebrations.  State administration is all geared up to make the event a grand success in the state.  In a review meeting held today at state secretariat headed by endowment minister Mr Indra Karan Reddy important decisions were taken.
As a part of the review of the arrangements and plan ahead for smooth conduct of the event the meeting was arranged.  Many ministers, MLAs and Officials of state government participated and reviewed the requirement of ghats for pilgrims.
It has been decided and announced that in Mahaboobnagar district alone 52 ghats will be constructed.  Also the review has the attendance of representative of both Nalgonda and Mahaboobnagar districts.  It is also announced that as a part of pushkaralu, many new ghats will be constructed in Nalgonda district too.  It is also mentioned that the ghats this time will be more than earlier.
Telanagana state administration is well prepared in advance for making arrangements and avoid any last minute hurdles.  Although there is almost 10 months for the event, it is announced that tenders for construction of ghats will be notified in the month of December this year.  This will give ample time to rectify lapses, if any.
These new ghats in telangana is expected to attract pilgrims.
